Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms govern your use of EditImageText.net (the “Service”), operated by Your Legal Name, an individual based in Hong Kong (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying credits or using the Service you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund, Delivery & Cancellation Policy and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account and buy credits. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws that apply to you, including sanctions laws.

3. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at support@editimagetext.net if you think someone else has used it.

4. Credits

• Credits are units for using the Service. Current costs are shown on the Pricing page (for example, 1 credit for a standard edit or for translating an image into one language, 1.5 credits for a Pro edit).
• Credits can only be used on EditImageText.net. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are not a deposit, stored-value product or currency.
• Purchased credits do not expire while your account is open and the Service is operating. If we change prices, credits you already hold keep working at the cost per edit shown when you use them; we will not reduce the credits in your balance.
• If an edit fails or returns no image, the credits it used are returned to your balance automatically.

5. Purchases and payment

• Credit packs are one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions and no automatic renewals.
• Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) on the Pricing page and again on the checkout page before you pay. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout. Your bank may charge currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. Charges appear on your statement as EDITIMAGETEXT.NET, and Stripe emails a receipt.
• Credits are delivered to your account automatically once the payment is confirmed (see the Refund, Delivery & Cancellation Policy).

6. Free sign-up credit

New accounts receive 1 free credit, limited to one per person. Free-credit edits use standard (1K) output. The free credit has no cash value, is not refundable and cannot be transferred. Creating several accounts to collect free credits is not allowed and may lead to those credits being removed. We may change or end this offer for future sign-ups at any time; credits already granted are not affected.

7. Refunds and cancellation

Unused purchased credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, and duplicate charges are refunded in full. The full rules, including how to ask, are in the Refund, Delivery & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.

8. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you may not use the Service to alter identity documents, financial or official records, or to create content meant to deceive anyone. We may refuse an edit that appears to break the policy.

9. Your content

You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the results. You confirm that you own each image or have permission to edit it, and that your use of the result is lawful. You give us a limited licence to process each image only to perform the edit and return the result. We do not store your images or results after the edit is finished.

10. AI output

Results are produced by third-party AI models and can contain mistakes, such as misspelt words or differences in lettering. Check every result before you publish or rely on it. Images produced by the model may carry an invisible SynthID watermark added by the model provider.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice on the site and refund unused purchased credits at the per-credit price paid.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required by law. What happens to unused credits in these cases is set out in the Refund, Delivery & Cancellation Policy.

13. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and content (other than your images) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, or access it by automated means other than through the website.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Indemnity

If you use the Service in breach of these terms or the law (for example, by editing images you have no right to edit) and a third party makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If you have a problem, please contact us first at support@editimagetext.net — most issues can be fixed quickly. Courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you keep any mandatory consumer protections of that country.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will announce material changes on the site before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms. Changes never apply retroactively to purchases already made.
