Acceptable Use Policy

EditImageText.net is for changing words in images you own or are licensed to adapt — your marketing material, your product photos, your app screenshots and mock-ups, your own AI generations, and translations of your own graphics.

Not allowed

• Identity documents: passports, ID cards, driving licences, visas, residence permits and visa support letters.
• Financial, official and legal records: bank or card statements, receipts, invoices, payslips, tax documents, certificates, diplomas, transcripts, references, contracts, medical records, notarised documents and anything bearing an official seal, stamp or signature.
• Money and value: banknotes, cheques, tickets, vouchers, gift cards and coupons.
• Deception and fraud: fake proof of payment, refund or delivery; altered chat, email, transaction or booking screenshots; fabricated reviews or testimonials; fake game ranks, scores or purchase records; and any edit meant to mislead a third party.
• Impersonation and infringement: impersonating real people, brands or institutions; counterfeit packaging or labels; using trademarks or copyrighted material you have no right to use, including fixing AI-generated logos so they spell real brands.
• Misinformation: altering news images, public notices, signage or political material to mislead people about real events.
• Harmful content: sexual content of any kind involving minors; sexual or intimate content of real people without their consent; sexually explicit material generally; content that harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hatred; anything illegal where you or the people shown live.
• Abusing the Service: getting around the automated checks, automated or bulk access, reselling access, creating multiple accounts for free credits, or testing stolen payment cards.

How we enforce it

Before an edit is charged, an automated check classifies the image and refuses document types listed above. The AI model provider applies its own safety filters. We may refuse edits, remove free credits or suspend accounts that break this policy (refunds in that case follow the Refund, Delivery & Cancellation Policy), and we may preserve records and share them with authorities where the law requires.
